At DR. Herbals, we care about your privacy and the security of your personal information. Our goal is to create clear and easy-to-understand guidelines for how we handle your personal data. If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy, you are always welcome to contact us. We prioritize security, both for our customers and for our company.
On May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was introduced, a common EU law that aims to give you more control over your personal data. It requires all companies to handle personal data responsibly and transparently. DR. Herbals is responsible for the data that you as a customer provide to us and we ensure that this information is handled securely. We do not share your personal information with third parties, except for the services we use to run our business, as described below.
How DR. Herbals uses personal data:
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyze the traffic on our website. This helps us to better understand how the site is used and how many visitors we have. If you choose to block cookies, we will not be able to measure your traffic on our site, which limits our ability to analyze site performance.
Newsletters
We offer the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter, either via a separate form or in connection with a purchase. To manage our mailings, we use Brevo. Each email contains a link where you can unsubscribe at any time. Alternatively, you can contact us directly at [email protected].
Personal data when buying
When you place an order, we save your personal information in accordance with the Accounting Act for a period of 7 years. This is done to ensure that we comply with Swedish and international rules on bookkeeping and accounting.
Google Ads
We use Google Ads to advertise our products online. By collecting cookies from our visitors, we can customize and improve our advertising based on how visitors use our website.
Payments
We work with Swish and PayProcc to process payments on our website. All payments are processed securely and in accordance with the GDPR.
More about our privacy policy and cookies:
Do we share your information with others?
No, the information you share with us at DR. Herbals is personal and confidential. We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties, except for the specific services mentioned above that are necessary to operate our business.
We do everything we can to ensure that your experience on our website is safe and secure. If, despite our precautions, there is a data breach, we are obliged to report it to the Data Protection Authority within 72 hours. However, our goal is to ensure that such situations never occur.
How we use the information we collect
The data we collect is primarily used to operate our e-commerce, i.e. to process and ship orders. Each transaction generates a receipt and a summary, which we need to comply with the requirements of the Accounting Act. All information is used only in aggregate form to analyze how the website is used, so that we can improve the experience for our customers.
We use Brevo to collect email addresses for newsletters and special offers. Each mailing contains an unsubscribe link, and when you unsubscribe, your email address is completely deleted from our system.
